1. Who We Are

PicturePerfect.ie (pictureperfect.ie) is a photography and videography marketplace operated by Conjora Limited, a company registered in Ireland. Data controller: Conjora Limited. Contact: hello@pictureperfect.ie.

2. What Data We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Clients (job posters): name, email, phone number, project details submitted via the enquiry form.
• Professionals (listing applicants): name, email, phone, website, Instagram handle, bio, specialty, county, experience level, and subscription payment data (processed by Stripe — we never see card numbers).
• Contact form submissions: name, email, and message content.
• Newsletter subscribers: email address only.

Information collected automatically:

• Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and diagnostic purposes only.
• Essential session cookies required for the site to function (see our Cookie Policy).

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or behavioural tracking tools.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To process professional listing applications and manage subscriptions.
• To connect clients with photographers by facilitating enquiries.
• To send transactional emails (application confirmations, billing receipts, enquiry confirmations).
• To send newsletters to subscribers who have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• To respond to contact form submissions.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the platform.

Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6): Contract performance (subscription and enquiry processing); Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, platform operations); Consent (newsletter emails).

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with processors necessary to operate the service, all under data processing agreements:

• Stripe — payment processing (PCI DSS Level 1, GDPR-compliant, EU DPA in place).
• Supabase — database hosting (EU region, GDPR-compliant).
• Vercel — hosting and deployment (GDPR-compliant, EU data processing available).
• Google Workspace SMTP — transactional email delivery only.

We never sell, rent, or share your data with marketers, data brokers, or other third parties.

5. Data Retention

• Active account data: retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days after cancellation.
• Enquiry form submissions: retained for 12 months to facilitate bookings, then deleted.
• Billing records: retained for 7 years as required by Irish tax law (Revenue Commissioners).
• Newsletter subscriber data: retained until unsubscribed, then deleted within 30 days.
• Server logs: retained for 90 days for security purposes, then automatically purged.

6. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only. We conduct regular security reviews. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and the Data Protection Commission (DPC) within 72 hours as required by GDPR Art. 33.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

As an EU data subject, you have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Request deletion of your data. We will action within 30 days.
• Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format (JSON).
• Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Restriction: Request we limit processing while a complaint is investigated.
• Withdraw Consent: Unsubscribe from emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.

To exercise any right, email hello@pictureperfect.ie with subject "GDPR Request". We will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission Ireland at dataprotection.ie.

We will notify registered users by email of any material changes to this policy. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
