"I love photos. I love them."

I mean I do like the kind of work that is produced by the artistic, wedding, or journalistic photographer. But that's not the same as the kind of image taken by someone who is just trying to hold on to a particular moment.

You can stare for hours at an old photo and it will still keep giving. The expressions, the clothes, the background. How many people are in the frame, how close are they standing? What does it say about the person holding the camera? There is only one moment in time, combined with one point in space in which any one image can be captured. A tiny slice of the history of a life that tells a powerful story. The kind of story that can take you back through time to experience the emotions, the tastes, sounds and smells of the moment.

There is nothing else that can do that in the same way. When the photo is combined with the memory it becomes alive. It starts to breath and is no longer a slice of time. When these memories are shared it becomes something else. Now it is something new. An experience in itself.

"The moments are gone but the story will always be there."

This is Picture Perfect

"I must get around to sorting through all those photos sometime."

The idea for Picture Perfect grew from conversations with people who had a real need - a complete service that helped them to truly enjoy their photos from the past that they would never otherwise get around to doing anything about.

Picture Perfect is a growing business with a growing community. It was started in 2010 in Co. Galway, Ireland by Owner Robin Chedgey (pictured- aged 3 with his dog).
